On 15 May 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00 (EET), an online guest lecture will take place via the ZOOM platform (https://zoom.us/j/97689729349?pwd=uCpe9HblFUlHzHgbwrAUlEb8lOioWC.1), featuring Moa Björnson—a renowned Kaospilot and expert in rural and urban development.
Moa Björnson has extensive experience in fostering community collaboration in Northern Norway. Her work spans from the remote island of Træna, with just 450 inhabitants, to Bodø, Northern Norway’s second-largest city, which has been named the European Capital of Culture for 2024.
Previously serving as Head of Development in Træna municipality, Björnson now leads a major initiative to develop a landscape and community hotel, housing units, office spaces, and cultural venues on the island. Her achievements have earned her the European Place Marketing Award (2021) and the Innovation Prize (2018).
In this lecture, Björnson will share insights into how culturally vibrant and resilient communities can be developed through co-creation with local residents, drawing on her practical experiences from both rural and urban contexts.
This event offers a valuable opportunity for professionals, students, and anyone interested in sustainable community development and cultural innovation.
