A Meeting of the European Universities initiative took place at the Embassy of Portugal in Belgium
On April 11 and 12, a meeting of the European Universities initiative ACE2-EU (Applied, Connected, Entrepreneurial and Engaged – European University) took place at the Embassy of Portugal in Belgium. Latvian Academy of Culture was represented by Agnese Hermane, Una Bluķe, and Ilze Beimane.
The agenda included the proposed model of supervision for the alliance, as well as the planned cooperation activities that will be implemented irrespective of the results of the European Universities initiative call for proposals (to be announced in early July). Members of the alliance visited the European Parliament to present their vision for the alliance and met with MEPs from Portugal.
The leading partner of the alliance is Santarém Polytechnic University (Portugal), other universities participating in the alliance: Constantin Brancusi University in Targu Jiu (Romania), Medical University of Gdansk (Poland), Goce Delcev University (North Macedonia), Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Kaunas Technical College (Lithuania), Francisco de Vitoria University (Spain), Technical University Ingolstadt of Applied Sciences (Germany), and Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia).
Work has also begun on the creation of the alliance's website: HOME - ACE2-EU (ipsantarem.pt)
